Guidance from Government

After a few weeks wait since the first announcement we now have some guidance from the Government on their new Housing Possession Mediation Service.

The general idea is that landlords and tenants who find themselves locked in disagreement over returning possession of the property, can use this service rather than the Courts. It looks as if it will be a useful, potentially faster service, given that the Society of Mediators are looking to hold mediation within 10 days of referral.
